ROMAN CANDLE
A Roman candle is a classic type of firework in which the shots or “balls” are loaded into a heavy gauge cardboard tube. Candles can vary in length, being as short as a foot or as long as a yard. Likewise, they can vary in the number of shots, generally containing anywhere from 5 to 10 balls. There is a fuse at the end of the tube from which the balls shoot. When lit, the fuse moves down the tube and ignites the preloaded balls that contain colorful stars, whistles, reports and other effects. The other end of the tube is plugged so as to not let the fuse run too far down. Though many people hold Roman candles in their hands to fire them, we recommend only firing them from launch tubes for maximum safety. Smiths Thunder Fireworks offers a great variety of Roman candles.
ARTILLERY SHELLS
If you are looking forward to creating a professional style display within your neighborhood, Artillery Shell fireworks are one of the best options available out there for you to consider. Artillery fireworks are known to give life to a firework show with their breaks that are loud and light up the entire sky! These will impress any spectator watching your show!
Artillery Shells are fireworks shells that range in size and effect. ... The larger reloadable canister shaped shells are 1.75" wide and contain 60 grams of powder to make them the equivalent of a preloaded 3" shell. They are propelled out of a mortar and may have single or multiple breaks.
MULTI SHOT CAKES
Multi-Shot Cakes are the most popular type of firework, as they can create spectacular and long-lasting effects from a single ignition.
A multi-shot cake offers the dazzling, spectacular effects like the Plastic Base items, but also offers longer duration like a Barrage. Some cakes shoot up to 100 times and last for about a minute.
Many effects such as large floral bursts, crackling stars, flying fish, popping flowers, and loud whistles or detonations are all used in a cake.
Multi-Shot Cakes are great when used throughout the display, and a large cake is the perfect grand finale or show stopper.
